Day 1 | AIRPORT COLOMBO
Arrive to Bandaranaike International Airport Katunayake. Your designated chauffeur guide will welcome you at the arrival lounge. Following a brief introduction, you will be transferred to your hotel in Colombo. Arrive at the hotel check in. Afternoon leisurely enjoy and settle into the new Surroundings. Day 2 | COLOMBO - TISSAMAHARAMA
Morning after ascrumptious break fasten joy a Colombo City tour. Tour will begin from the Fort area of Colombo which has been named for being afort during the times of Portuguese and Dutch. Later we will take you to Colombo National Museum to see some of the great specimens of arts-crafts and archaeology of Colombo. You will drive thru the commercial areas and drive past Pettah, a colorful Oriental bazaar with a mix of people,ancient vehicles,bargains,mosques and temples. You have a chance to see a Hindu Temple, Buddhist Temple and the JamiUl Alfar Jumma Mosque of Colombo. Upon completion proceed to Tissamaharama. En-route visit an Agro Technological Park in Hambantota that demonstrates new and older agricultural technologies. Attractions include Floriculture Garden, Dry Zone Home Garden, Herbal Garden, modern and old agricultural equipment, irrigation methods, model house built of clay etc. Overnight accommodation in Yala/ Tissamaharama. Day 3 | YALA NATIONAL PARK
Morning at leisure!– Enjoy a delicious local breakfast at the hotel. Afternoon set on an exclusive private jeep safari at Yala National Park. This is simply a protected wilderness and hardly any visitors sothis is an ideal safari area for those who prefer a private nature experience. Including Sri Lankan Elephant, 44 species of mammals which include wild elephants, wild boars, wild buf aloes, leopards, bears, deer are resident in Yala National Park. It has one of the highest leopard densities in the world. Large flocks of migratory and indigenous birds are also found here. Return to the hotel and rest of the day at leisure ! For today’s dinner you will have Sri Lankan Hoppers, Coconut Rotti & Pittuwith Spicy Chicken Curry& Dhal Curry.. Overnight accommodation in Yala / Tissamaharama. Hotel :Blue Turtle or Similar.
Day 4 | TISSAMAHARAMA- ARUGAM BAY
After breakfast leave for Arugam Bay. En-route visit Kataragama Temple. Kataragama is a pilgrimage town sacred to Buddhist, Hindu and indigenous vedda people of Sri Lanka. People from South India also come there to worship. The town has the Ruhunu Maha Kataragama devalaya, a shrine dedicated to Skanda-Murukan also known as Kataragama devio. Continue to Arugam Bay and check in to the hotel. Overnight accommodation in Arugam Bay. Hotel :Bay Vista or Similar.
Day 5 | LAHUGALA NATIONAL PARK
After Breakfast at leisure. Afternoon visit Lahugala National Park. Lahugala Kitulana National Park is one of the smalest national parks in Sri Lanka.. Despite its land area, the park is an important habitat for Sri Lankan elephant and endemic birds of Sri Lanka. The national park contains the reservoirs of Lahugala, Kitulana and Sengamuwa and they are ultimately empties to Heda Oya river. Originally it was designated as a wildlife sanctuary on July 1 of 1966. Then the protected area was upgraded to a national park on October 31 of 1980. Return to hotel for overnight accommodation in Arugam Bay. Hotel :Bay Vista or Similar.
Day 6 | ARUGAM BAY
After breakfast spend the day at leisure. Enjoy a special prawn curry for dinner. Dinner & overnight accommodation in Arugam bay. Hotel :Bay Vista or Similar.
Day 7 | ARUGAM BAY – MAHIYANGANAYA
After Breakfast proceed to Mahiyanaganaya. Sri Lanka’s longest river Mahaweli flows through Mahiyangana, of which the climate is determined by the north east monsoon of the island. In the mid-20th century Mahaweli River irrigation projects provided farmlands for the inhabitants of Mahiyangana. Today, the landscape of Mahiyangana features Savannah like grasslands beyond the paddy cultivation. Afternoon enjoy boat ride at Mapakada Lake. Enjoy Sri Lankan dinner with Roasted Bread with scrumptious Beef Curry & Coconut Sambol. Overnight accommodation in Mahiyanganaya. Hotel :Mapakada Village or Similar.
Day 8 | MAHIYANAGANAYA
After breakfast visit the Veddhas (native communities). Take photographs, converse with Leadership. Sri Lanka’s indigenous inhabitants, the Veddas or Wanniya-laeto (‘forest-dwel ers’) as they call themselves, preserve a direct line of descent from the island’s original Neolithic community dating from at least 16,000 BC and probably far earlier according to current scientific opinion. Afternoon leisurely enjoy and walk surrounding the hotel. Enjoy a Lake Fish & Chicken BBQ night Overnight accommodation in Mahiyanaganaya. Hotel :Mapakada Village or Similar.
Day 9 | MAHIYANAGANAYA - SIGIRIYA
After Breakfast leave for Sigiriya. Sigiriya is one of the most valuable historical monuments of Sri Lanka. Check-in to the hotel. Afternoon visit Dambulla cave temple. Dambulla Cave Temple – the magnificent rock temple in Dambulla, Site world heritage built in the first century BC. It is recognized to be the largest cave sanctuaries in the world with its 2000 m2 of walls and ceilings painted more than 150 Buddha images whose largest engraved in the rock reaches 14 meters. Evening enjoy a pure Sri Lankan Arrack Cocktail (Approx. 45 minutes) followed by a“Kottu Dinner” (Kottu, also known as koththu rotti or kothu roti is a Sri Lankan dish made from godhamba roti (a type of Sri Lankan roti) and vegetables, egg and/or meat, and spices. Day 10 | SIGIRIYA ROCK FORTRESS
Morning climb the Sigiriya Rock Fortress (Lion’s Rock), one of the most extraordinary artistic complexes of its time (477 – 498 AD). Declared as an UNESCO heritage site in 1982, this magnificent citadel allures artistic and architectural curiosity from around the globe. Cooking demonstration and special Sri Lankan lunch with hot spice chicken at SigiriyaJungles Hotel. Afternoon proceed on Audangawa trek. This Trek gives you a glimpse into the life of the local folks, paddy fields and Lakes where the traditions and culture are still apart of their daily lives. You also have the option of being taken on a farmer’s tractor midway. Commence your journey over the Kudawewa Lake where you have the opportunity to sight the Sigiriya & Pidurangala rocks. Proceed to visit the local temple passing through paddy fields and Chena cultivations and evoke blessings from the priest. Thereafter you will be taken to Visit a villager’s house and enjoy a warm herbal drink or a king coconut. Guests are welcome to watch and help! Day 11 | POLONNARUWA
After breakfast proceed to Polonnaruwa and set on a sightseeing-tour. Polonnaruwa was the country’s capital from the 11th– 13th Century. Polonnaruwa is considered one of the best preserved historic cities in the world. Located approximately 60km from Sigiriya, Polonnaruwa was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, due to its abundance of historic remains. Enjoy a cycle ride in Polonnaruwa. Afternoon enjoy jeep safari at Minneriya National Park. Return to hotel for dinner & overnight accommodation in Sigiriya. Hotel :Kingfisher Lodge or Similar.
Day 12 | SIGIRYA - NEGOMBO
After breakfast leave for Negombo.. En route visit Ridi Viharaya. Ridi Viharaya or the Silver Temple was built at the place whereSilver ore wasfound, that was made used to build Ruwanweli Dageba at Anuradhapura by King Dutugemunu during his rein. To reach the Ridi Vihara, proceed along Kandy- Kurunegala highway turn off at Mallawapitiya and proceed to Ridigama for about 13km. Then proceed about 2 km to find Ridi Vihara which is built under a rock outcrop which stands about 200 feet high from the surrounding area. Continue Negombo. Check-in to the hotel and spend the evening at leisure. Overnight accommodation in Negombo. Hotel :Suriya Arana or Similar.

Day 14 | NEGOMBO- AIRPORT
